The Moth Spring Campaign
Overview

The Moth approached me to develop the hero season artwork for their Spring 2026 Mainstage tour, built around the theme 'American Dreams.' The campaign spans 18 cities and marks America's 250th anniversary, with The Moth's characteristically human take: not a celebration of mythology, but an honest, inclusive look at what the dream actually means across vastly different lives and experiences.

I went with a collage approach: layering archival photography, historical documents, protest signage, and everyday American imagery to reflect the breadth and contradiction of American experience itself. No single image or perspective dominates, which felt like the only honest way to visualize a theme this loaded. A warm, limited palette of red, cream, and teal keeps the compositions cohesive without flattening the complexity underneath.

I designed the national season artwork and localized show-specific versions as the sole designer on the key deliverables, which were then handed off to The Moth's in-house team for versioning across print, digital, and motion.
